Bears Close With First-Rounder

The Bears are said by people within the league to be close to completing a contract agreement with rookie offensive tackle Chris Williams, a first-round pick in April.

Williams, from Vanderbilt, was chosen 14th overall.

He would be the seventh first-round pick league-wide to sign.
