Bucs Calling Garcia's Injury Minor
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are saying that the injury to his right calf that quarterback Jeff Garcia suffered during today's practice isn't serious.
Coach Jon Gruden said during a news conference that more evaluation of the injury is required but at this point he doesn't think it's serious.
The Buccaneers are terming Garcia's status day to day.
Garcia was hurt during a non-contact passing drill and was taken from the field on a cart, then limped to the locker room after getting out of the cart.
The Buccaneers have been among the teams linked to a possible trade for still-retired-for-now Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.
