Extension for Chargers' Castillo

Defensive lineman Luis Castillo has signed a five-year contract extension with the San Diego Chargers.

The deal runs through the 2014 season and is worth approximately $43 million, including about $17.5 million in bonuses.

Castillo's contract had been due to expire following the 2009 season.
