Favre Back in Green Bay, At Least For One Night
Brett Favre was in Green Bay on Saturday night for the induction of former Packers teammate Frank Winters into the franchise's Hall of Fame.
Favre spoke about Winters but managed to steer clear of the controversy over his clash with the Packers about his desire to end his fourth-month retirement.
The Packers don't report to training camp until next weekend.

Favre could have done this the right way, as Jim Brown did, and strolled into the sunset after his last game...but no. He has decided to make a mess of things by insisting on "un-retiring" (to say it aloud is to understand how foolish it is) and in a matter of weeks destroy his image and his legacy. He is now seen, not as a great quarterback, but a self-indulgent whiner and dramatist. At a time we should be getting excited about trades and workouts in the NFL, all we hear about are Brett's daily blatherings on ESPN or Greta. Ugh.
