Favre Could Travel to Green Bay Tonight

Brett Favre is scheduled to fly from Hattiesburg, Miss., to Green Bay tonight on a private jet.

He is to arrive in Green Bay just before 9 p.m. local time (10 p.m. Eastern).

That doesn't necessarily mean that Favre would be able to practice with the Packers on Friday, even if he does make the trip to Green Bay tonight and even if he's not traded first.

Once he's reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, which hasn't happened yet but could happen later today, the Packers have 24 hours to put him on the roster, trade him or release him. And Favre must pass a physical to be allowed to practice.
