J. Lynch Reportedly Leaving Broncos, Might Retire
Veteran safety John Lynch, unhappy with his role on the Denver Broncos, reportedly has decided to leave the team and might retire.
Lynch told a Denver television station, KCNC, that he will consider playing for another NFL team or pursuing a possible broadcasting career.
He reportedly was displeased about not being a full-time player for the Broncos.
Lynch met with Broncos Coach Mike Shanahan today and was given permission by Shanahan to pursue opportunities with other teams, the TV station reported.
The San Diego Chargers, Lynch's hometown team, are one possibility, according to the station's report.
Lynch missed a team meeting Tuesday and today's practice.
