More Favre: Dialogue Between Two Sides

A league source says there's been dialogue in recent days between Green Bay Packers officials and quarterback Brett Favre in an attempt to resolve their dispute.

"They're talking," said the source, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the topic.

The source speculated that the Packers are discussing potential trade scenarios with Favre. It's not clear whether the dialogue is with Favre directly or through agent Bus Cook.

The Packers report to training camp Sunday and many in the league think Favre will be traded by then, perhaps to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
