Reid Taking It Easy on Eagles' Vets

Coach Andy Reid is trying to keep his veterans fresh during the Eagles' training camp.

Reid announced that he will gave all his players at least 30 years old a morning practice off every third day.

Quarterbacks Donovan McNabb and A.J. Feeley might not qualify, however, because that might overburden youngster Kevin Kolb.

The Eagles got rookie defensive tackle Trevor Laws, a second-round draft pick in April, to agree to a four-year contract but he's expected to be sidelined temporarily by a foot injury.
