Titans Have Deal With Haynesworth
Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has agreed to a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans.
Haynesworth was named the Titans' franchise player in February and will receive the salary--$7.25 million--to which he was entitled under the franchise tender.
But the Titans and Haynesworth apparently have added conditions to the deal that could allow Haynesworth to reach the free agent market next spring, without being franchised again, if he meets certain conditions outlined in the contract.
The Titans have their first practice of training camp today.
