B. Marshall in N.Y. For Appeal

Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was in New York on Tuesday to appeal his three-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell previously indicated a willingness to reduce Marshall's suspension to two games if he met certain conditions, including staying out of further trouble and meeting with a counselor.

People familiar with the appeals process believe it's unlikely that Goodell will reduce Marshall's penalty any further.
