Bengals Release R. Johnson
The Cincinnati Bengals released tailback Rudi Johnson.
The Bengals tried but failed to trade Johnson, who lost the starting job at running back to Chris Perry.
Johnson had two seasons remaining on a five-year, nearly $21 million contract.
