Cameo For Favre

Brett Favre's preseason debut for the New York Jets comes tonight against the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium, but don't expect too much.

Favre began practicing with the Jets only a week ago.

He is to have a small package of plays available to use in this game, and he probably will play only about a dozen snaps.

Still, the appearance is certain to be closely scrutinized. It is Brett Favre, after all, and he will be playing in the shadow of New York City.
