Concussion Keeps S. Smith Out of Panthers' Practice

Wide receiver Steve Smith sat out the Carolina Panthers' practice this morning because of a concussion suffered in Saturday's preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Panthers listed Smith's status as day to day.

He has continued practicing and playing in preseason games after being suspended without pay for the first two games of the regular season for breaking the nose of Panthers cornerback Ken Lucas in a fight during a training camp practice.

I don't buy this. A concussion is a brain injury, & Smith has already proven he doesn't have one.
