D. Anderson Has Concussion

Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson suffered a concussion and a bruised hand on the sack by New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora that knocked him from Monday night's game at Giants Stadium.

Brady Quinn took over for Anderson and would be in line to take over as the starter if Anderson is sidelined for any length of time.

Cleveland safety Brodney Pool also suffered a concussion during the game and the Browns lost return man Josh Cribbs to an ankle injury and linebacker Leon Williams to a neck injury. The extent of the injuries was not immediately known, although Coach Romeo Crennel told reporters after the game he did not believe the injuries to Cribbs and Williams were serious.
