J. Lynch Visits Patriots
Free agent safety John Lynch is visiting the New England Patriots today, the Boston Globe reported on its Website.
Lynch was released by the Denver Broncos after he and the team agreed to part ways. Lynch was displeased about being rendered a less than fulltime player. He wanted to pursue other opportunities, both with other teams and outside of football. The San Diego Chargers, Lynch's hometown team, also have been regarded as a possibility.
If he retires, Lynch is expected to pursue a broadcasting career.
