Leftwich Debuts For Steelers

Backup quarterback Byron Leftwich made his exhibition-season debut for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Thursday night's loss to the Buffalo Bills in Toronto.

Leftwich completed five of 11 passes for 41 yards--nothing great, but not bad either considering that Leftwich had only a few days to begin to learn the offense after being signed to replace the injured Charlie Batch.
