McCarthy and Favre Still Meeting, Press Conference Canceled
GREEN BAY, Wis.--The Green Bay Packers have just announced that Coach Mike McCarthy's news conference scheduled for tonight has been canceled.
McCarthy and Brett Favre began meeting at 6 p.m. local time (7p.m. Eastern) and were still meeting as of a few minutes ago, a team spokesman said.
McCarthy did not speak to fellow quarterback Aaron Rodgers this evening and postponed a scheduled team meeting until Tuesday, said the spokesman, adding he did not know if Favre will be on the practice field Tuesday afternoon.
Favre did pass his physical and conditioning test today, according to the Packers.
