No Word Yet on Brady's Playing Status This Week
The New England Patriots aren't saying if quarterback Tom Brady will return to the lineup for their preseason game this week.
Brady is suffering from a sore right foot and did not accompany the team to Tampa last weekend.
Brady said during a radio appearance Monday that this is a different injury than the one that plagued him during last season's Super Bowl. Brady suffered a high ankle sprain on his right leg during the AFC title game and was photographed wearing a walking boot in the weeks before the Patriots' Super Bowl defeat to the New York Giants.
