O'Sullivan in Mix For Niners

There is speculation that J.T. O'Sullivan might be in line to win the starting quarterback job in San Francisco.

The 49ers had planned to have a training camp competition between Alex Smith, the former top overall selection in the NFL draft, and Shaun Hill, the former third-stringer who played well late last season after injuries to Smith and Hill.

But O'Sullivan is said to be outperforming both and, according to Bay Area media reports, now is getting more practice-field snaps than the others.
