P. Manning Attends Colts' Practice
Quarterback Peyton Manning attended the Indianapolis Colts' practice today.
He remains sidelined after undergoing surgery last month to have an infected bursa sac removed from his left knee.
The Colts are hopeful that Manning will practice next week and be ready to play in their Sept. 7 regular season opener against the Chicago Bears.
He never has missed a game in his NFL career.
There are some whispers around the league that there's a chance Manning's absence could extend into the regular season, but Colts officials continue to say his rehabilitation is on schedule.
