P. Manning Scheduled to Practice Tuesday
Quarterback Peyton Manning is scheduled to participate in the Indianapolis Colts' practice Tuesday.
Manning has been sidelined since undergoing surgery before training camp opened to have an infected bursa sac removed from his left knee.
The Colts have remained hopeful, however, that Manning will be in their lineup for their regular season opener Sept. 7 at home against the Chicago Bears. Manning never has missed a game during his NFL career.
According to the Indianapolis Star, Colts Coach Tony Dungy said today: "I think we'll ease him in and see how he practices and what he's able to do and we'll see from there."
