P. Manning Set to Practice This Afternoon

The Indianapolis Colts activated quarterback Peyton Manning from the physically unable to perform list.

He is scheduled to practice with the team this afternoon.

Manning had been on the PUP list since undergoing surgery before training camp to have an infected bursa sac removed from his left knee. The Colts are hopeful he'll be ready to play in the opening regular season game.
