Panthers Add S. Parker

The Carolina Panthers signed wide receiver Samie Parker.

He'd been released this week by the Denver Broncos.

If he can learn the offense quickly, he could help the Panthers early in the season. Their best wideout, Steve Smith, was suspended for the first two regular season games without pay after his training camp fight with cornerback Ken Lucas.
