Ravens' Moves

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that they've released the following players:

WR Justin Harper
RB Alex Haynes
TE Keith Heinrich
G Adam Kraus
LB Robert McCune
RB Allen Patrick
CB Ronnie Prude
T Joe Reitz
T Chad Slaughter
LB Gary Stills
WR Ernie Wheelwright
DL Lorenzo Williams
WR Matt Willis

They also placed cornerback David Pittman and running back Cory Ross on the injured reserve list and announced that cornerback Derrick Martin has been suspended without pay for the opening regular season game and fined an additional game check by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

With fellow cornerback Fabian Washington also suspended, the moves take the Ravens to 52 players, one below the limit. General Manager Ozzie Newsome said in a written statement that the team will add a player before the opening of the season.
