Saints Lose H. Thomas For at Least Two Months

The New Orleans Saints will be minus veteran defensive tackle Hollis Thomas for at least two months.

He underwent surgery today for a torn triceps suffered Wednesday during a pass-rushing drill.

The injury could end up being season-ending for Thomas.

Kendrick Clancy likely will take over as nose tackle for Thomas, although the Saints also could consider moving prized rookie Sedrick Ellis to the position. Ellis has been playing the other defensive tackle spot.
