T. Suggs to Report to Ravens on Sunday

Linebacker-defensive end Terrell Suggs reportedly plans to report Sunday to the Baltimore Ravens and sign his one-year, $8.5 million franchise tender.

The Baltimore Sun reported that Suggs will practice Monday and participate in about 15 plays in the team's third preseason game. Suggs apparently will sign the deal without securing a pledge from the Ravens not to use the franchise player tag on him again next offseason.

Suggs has been absent from training camp. The Ravens put the franchise tag on him in February as a linebacker. Suggs filed a grievance claiming to gotten more playing time at defensive end, but the two sides settled the dispute by agreeing to a salary figure between those for a linebacker and defensive end.
