Will Redskins Face Favre?

CLEVELAND--Will Brett Favre's first preseason game for the Jets come against the Redskins a week from Saturday at Giants Stadium?

Normally, you would say that a player wouldn't participate in a game a week and a half after being obtained in a trade--particularly if that player must learn a new offensive system and acquaint himself with an unfamiliar set of coaches.

But the Jets have to get Favre ready to be their starting quarterback in a month. They only have three preseason games left. Can they afford to let Favre sit one of them out?

The Skins should send Taylor, Carter, and a few blitzes Farve's way and remind him why he wanted to retire.

What are the chances Favre can talk the Jets into taking a shot on Chris Henry?
