Lions Bolster Backfield With R. Johnson
Tailback Rudi Johnson agreed to a contract with the Detroit Lions.
He'd been released by the Cincinnati Bengals after they'd tried but failed to trade him.
Johnson is to back up starter Kevin Smith in Detroit.
