Equestrian: Team Gold for U.S.
From the Associated Press:
The U.S. equestrian team won the gold medal Monday in team jumping, knocking out Canada, which took silver. Norway won the bronze.
The U.S. got clear rounds from their first three riders in the jump-off. One Canadian rider knocked down a fence, and since Canada only had three riders to the Americans' four, that clinched the U.S. gold.
The U.S. also won team jumping in 2004 in Athens and has two returning combinations on the 2008 team, McLain Ward on Sapphire and Beezie Madden on Authentic.
Ian Millar, riding in his ninth Olympics, forced the jump-off with a clear round on In Style. The team silver is Millar's first Olympic medal.

Totally agree. I was looking all over for coverage of the team getting the gold metals last night, and what do I see, the medal event for the trampoline?

It's because only rich Republicans own horses. If Hussein Obama had a horse, you know they would be covering equestrian events. There won't be any horse farms soon because Hussein is going to increase the inheritance tax so all the blacks/illegals,gays etc. own them. One big family of criminals.

The US Equestrian team continues to medal, as they have in the previous two Olympics, but can you get decent TV coverage here? Ha! NBC Olympics coverage is seemingly all beach volleyball all the time. It would be so nice to get more balanced coverage of some of the other sports.
