Boxing: Estrada Loses

American middleweight Shawn Estrada, who was fighting for his dying father back home near Los Angeles, lost his second round match 11-5 to England's James Degale.

"I had a bad day, but this is the Olympics and there's no such thing as bad days in the Olympics," Estrada said. "I did everything I could do but it was a four-round match and he came up the winner. This is not the end of Sean Estrada. You are going to see a lot more of me."

Estrada's father, Juan, is suffering from heart and kidney disease and twice nearly died this year, but Estrada believed his father was hanging on to see him fight in the Olympics.
