Hawaiian 9th in Judo
Taylor Takata of Wahiawa, Hawaii, split his four matches in the 66 kg class in Olympic judo competition Sunday afternoon at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium.
He placed ninth overall after winning his first two bouts and then losing his last two.
