Kayak: Zur Eliminated in Semis

Rami Zur placed seventh in his semifinal and was eliminated from the men's single kayak (K-1) 1000m event Wednesday afternoon at the Shunyi Rowing-Canoeing Park.

Zur had a time of 3:46.204, 12.949 seconds behind Ken Wallace of Australia, who won the semifinal in a time of 3:33.255. Zur remains alive in the K-1 500m, which will run semifinals Thursday afternoon.
