Phelps, Coughlin Both Golden
Michael Phelps won his third gold medal of these Olympics this morning with a dominant, world-record performance in the 200-meter freestyle. And fellow American Natalie Coughlin defended the gold she won four years ago in Athens in the women's 100-meter backstroke.
Phelps led by spectacular margins at each turn, winning by more than a body length over South Korea's Park Tae-hwan, touching in 1 minute, 42.96 seconds, an incredible .9 of a second better than the world mark he set at last year's world championships in Melbourne.
Park was second, with American Peter Vanderkaay third to bring home a bronze medal.
Coughlin beat Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry, who is having an outstanding meet, by touching in a personal best of 58.96.

Phelps is great, not only winning gold but more breaking world record. But Park did good job too. he is just 19 yrs old and his pace to shorten his record is even faster tha Phelps.
