Sailing: 6-for-10
The U.S. fleet put on a show of strength Wednesday in the sailing competition at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, winning a remarkable six of the 10 races competed.
In the 49er class, Tim Wadlow and Chris Rast won all three of their races today to propel themselves up from 13th to fifth in the standings in the 19-boat fleet.
Andrew Campbell won the only race of the day in the Laser class to move from 13th to eight place. In the second race for the Men's 470 class, Stu McNay and Graham Biehl won the race by more than a minute and a half.
The Yngling trio of Sally Barkow, Carrie Howe and Debbie Capozzi are medal favorites and moved themselves into podium position after winning their only race today.
