Softball: Abbott Perfect, U.S. Unbeaten
Monica Abbott pitched a perfect game to help the U.S. softball team to an 8-0 victory over the Netherlands at Fengtai Softball Field Sunday evening.
Crystl Bustos powered the American offense, going 3-3 with a home run and two singles. The U.S. rapped out three home runs to boost their total during the tournament to 12, setting a record for most home runs during an Olympic Games. Abbott struck out nine while improving her record to 2-0. The U.S. returns to the field Monday to face host China.

I am a big softball person. I have been playing softball for 11 years. I am a varsity softball play er so stay busy practicing and games but in my free time i love to check up on the USA softball team. I just wanted to say thanks for keeping e posted
