Softball: Another U.S. Shutout
The U.S. softball team extended its Olympic winning streak to 19 with a 7-0 win over Chinese Taipei Saturday afternoon at the Fengtai Softball Field.
Jessica Mendoza hit her third home run in two days to pace the U.S. attack, going 2-3 with a double and two RBI. Lovieanne Jung was 2-2 with a double and two RBI. Jennie Finch improved to 2-0, allowing only two hits while striking out six and walking one in five innings.
Next up for the U.S. is the Netherlands in a game scheduled for Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

nbc,msnbc are not being fair to the women softball team by not broadcasting their games.the women bring excitement and they are entertaining.there is an interest in the usa team,the espn networks broadcasts numerous of their games during the usa tour prior to going to china.
