Swim Flash: Phelps Breaks WR
Michael Phelps won his third gold medal of these Games and smashed his own world record this morning in the men's 200-meter freestyle.
Phelps won in 1 minute 42.96 seconds, more than a second faster than the mark of 1:43.86 he set last year in Australia.
Park Taehwan was second and teammate Peter Vanderkaay third.

Horrible coverage by NBC on the west coast. Yet, they kept on saying that they are broadcasting live.... yup we are idiots here in the west, NBC thinks we don't know what live means.
