Synchro: U.S. Pair 5th in Duet
The U.S. duet of Christina Jones and Andrea Nottfinished preliminary competition in fifth place with a total score of 95.500. The reigning Olympic and World Champion duet, Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Ermakova of Russia, finished the day in the top spot with a near perfect 99.000.
The duet finals are Wednesday. The overall order of finish will be determined by combining fifty percent of the free routine final score and fifty percent of the technical score from Monday.

I didn't know Ballroom Dancing was an Olympic sport. Neat. And I think it's great they opened it up to same-sex partners. IOC, you are the greatest.
