Taekwondo Athlete Kicks Ref: The Photos

Here's the incident that has resulted in the recommendation that Cuba's Angel Matos and his coach, Leudis Gonzalez, be banned from all championships sanctioned by the World Taekwondo Federation.

(Earlier, we reported that the ban was already in place. The latest wire reports now read "Although the arena announcer said Matos and his coach were banned effective immediately, Yang said due process must be followed before officially banning the two. ")

What a dipspit! Don't let the door hit your a$$ on the way out. And don't even consider defecting here, Matos. We won't have you.

What do you mean? Of course we'll take him. This guy is a guaranteed gold medal in Olympic pro wrestling!

Fidel is going to have a cow. There will be a great many very good Cuban athletes who will suffer a lot of undeserved embarrassment over the actions of this jerk-off. Hope his toe heals soon...he is going to need his mobility to cut down sugar cane. For a long time. Gets the gold for stupidity, 'tho...
