Update: Rousey Close to Medal
Ronda Rousey defeated 2007 world medalist Anette Mesvaros of Hungary in the repechage of the 70 kg judo competition at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium. She will play in the bronze medal match starting at approximately 6:30. Her opponent will be Germany's Annett Boehm.
If Rousey wins bronze, she'll become the first American woman to win a Judo medal since the sport became a women's full medal sport in 1992.
