Update: Rousey Still Alive

Ronda Rousey won her repechage match in the 70 kg division against Rachida Ouerdane of Algeria, who she first threw and then pinned for 25 seconds to end the match in less than two minutes.

Rousey will face 20-year-old world medalist Anett Mészáros Hungary in the repechage final tonight at 6 p.m. at the Beijing University of Science and Technology Gymnasium. Should Rousey win the repechage final, she will fight for bronze later that hour against either Anaysi Hernandez of Cuba or Annett Boehm of Germany

A bronze medal win would make Rousey the first U.S. woman to win a medal at the Olympic Games since women's judo was introduced as a full medal sport in 1992.
