(Update) Wrestling: Miller to Quarters

Two American wrestlers have earned spots in the bronze medal matches in their weight classes Sunday afternoon.

Ali Bernard defeated Sweden's Jenny Fransson. 3-1, 3-0. in the repechage round of the women's 72 kg class in women's wrestling competition at the China Agricultural University Gymnasium Sunday afternoon. The victory moves her into the bronze medal match, where she will face five-time world champion Kyoko Hamaguchi of Japan, the 2004 Olympic silver medalist.

Randi Miller, also fighting in the repechage round, pinned Olesya Zamula of Azerbaijan 32 seconds into the second period of the match to win 2-0, 3-0. Miller now faces Martine Dugrenier of Canada in the bronze medal match.
