Local Wheelchair Racer Featured in Documentary
Tatyana McFadden of Clarkesville, Md., will be among the athletes featured in a 90-minute documentary on the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing that will air Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on NBC (WRC-4, WBAL-11).
McFadden won the wheelchair race at the Paralympics, which were held in Beijing in late August and early September. The documentary will also feature Jessica Long of Baltimore, who won a gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly.
Following the documentary, 28 hours of the Paralympics will be presented on Universal Sports from 7-11 p.m. each night from Nov. 10-16.
