Lothrop Win Four Medals in Argentina

The U.S. team took 11 medals -- five golds, six silvers -- at the 2008 Pan American Gymnastics Union Individual Event Championships this past weekend in Rosario, Argentina.

Corrie Lothrop, who trains at Hill's Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, won a gold medal in the vault and silver on the uneven bars, beam and floor exercise.

Samantha Shapiro of Los Angeles won gold on the uneven bars and balance beam.
