Virginia Riders Make '09 List

The U.S. Equestrian Federation named its 2009 eventing training list this week, and several Virginia riders are on it. The locations of the training sessions have not yet been announced.

Among the area riders and horses named to the "A" team are Karen O'Connor of The Plains and her mount Mandiba and William Coleman and Twizzel of Gordonsville.

On the "B" list are Jan Byyny (Syd Kent) of Purcellville, Sara Dierks (Somerset) of Berryville, Kim Severson (Tipperary Liadhnan) of Keene and Allison Springer (Destination Unknown) of Marshall.
