Omblog on Hiatus
Friends: I'll be on vacation until the week of Oct. 19. The Omblog will resume shortly after I return.

Argh, under the presumption someone out there is looking at comments on this, I'll point out that while it's nice to see countless (what is the count anyway?) comments on Obama's Nobel, it's sort of frustrating that the other American winners get wire service no one can congratulate them with... Granted, he's the President and they're not, but he's not the only winner either.

Good! Stay on vacation. You are an embarrassing apologist and you court the right wing every chance you get. You did the impossible, also: you took over from Deborah Howell, who was completely over-matched by the task of Ombudsman, and you managed to make the column even less intelligent and less important to readers.
You do not even get as many comments as a blog that covers a local T-Ball League. Your catering to Rush Limbaugh and others on the right brings you zero credibility and about three dozen readers.
Seriously, please, resign.
