I hope there's a response to the concerns raised in this article when you get back:

Has anyone tried to use the on-line "Local Living" section (formerly the Extra portion) of the Post website? It is no longer reader-friendly. During the Extra tenure, each separate section contained a weekly events section, a health calendar, and articles of local interest to a particular jurisdiction (Alexandria/Arlington and Fairfax, e.g.) They are nowhere to be found now. What happened?

Listen, Mr. Alexander, with the total incompetence you use in writing this useless column and blog, the Post has a better Ombudsman when you are on vacation than when your freshly typed "column" appears.

You are trivial; you are subservient to your editors as if your job was to write a public relations column/unpaid advertisement for the Post; you want the Post to be a Right Wing home away from home for Rush Limbaugh.

Mr. Alexander, your idea of a great Ombudsman column is to ask an Editor, "Gee, Boss. How the heck do you do such a good job all the time on everything? How do you handle being so great at your job?"

Then you add, "Oh, by the way Boss. Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck want us to go after Obama and say that he is a clone developed by ACORN and Al Quaeda. Shouldn't we have even more right wingers here? I mean we only have Krauthammer, Gerson, Hiatt,Kristol, Diehl, Ignatius, Kagen, Will, and Applebaum writing on behalf of her allegiance to Israel and Poland. Hiring Sarah Palin to talk ignorantly and lie was a good start, but shouldn’t we have Glenn Beck and Rush and Michael Savage, and shouldn’t we let Brit Hume decide what is fair and balanced so we can be even more like Fox News. I watch Fox News and boy, this paper sure is liberal.

“Did you know back in 1973 we actually criticized President Nixon? That is just the kind of bias readers don’t need to see. They want to see Krauthammer’s hatred of Obama day after day and calls for war with every country except Israel

Merry Christmas, wapoisrightwingrag. Grab another mug of egg nog or two (preferably spiked) and chill just a little. Then get back to writing your brilliant blog.
