The Patterson Family,

I played football with Cliff, when we were kids at the Silver Spring Boys' Club, and was a classmate and teammate of Cliff’s again at St. John's College High School. I think of him offend, as I still live close to the football field where we played together as kids. Every memory I have of Cliff is a positive one, and I know he must have been a wonderful husband and father. My thoughts and prayers continue to remain with your family.

God Bless,

I think of you often and all the fun we used to have as kids when I would spend the night at your house. Just talking about you the other day with Grandma and the rest of the family in NY. I miss you. Your cousin -Tami

I attended Howard University and ROTC with Cliff. I remember him as a strong and intelligent leader of the Bison Battalion. Cliff had General Officer written all over him. Our nation lost a real hero. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

I attended St. John's with Cliff where we had many classes together. Cliff was always squared away as a cadet in high school so it wasn't a stretch to see him make a professional career in the Army. What I'll always remember about Cliff is he had a kindness and good nature about him back in high school. My thoughts and prayers are with the Patterson family.

I had known Cliff since junior high school before he went to St. John's. He was a great person as a young man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

We played together as young children when my family lived on Rock Creek Church Road. We continue to pray for the Patterson family and for peace.

RIP Cliff, I played football with Cliff at St. John's. I have been living in another state and just found out about Cliff's passing. My heart was so heavy. My prayers are with his family.
