Even after seven years I cannot express my sorrow at what happened to M.J. and all the other poor innocent people who simply showed up to live their lives that day. I often hope that the terror passed so fast that they didn't have time to even realize what was happening to them.
I think of them all frequently but especially M.J. who was our Mother hen and took care of all of us so many times.

Fond thoughts filled my heart today as your name was called at the Pentagon Memorial Dedication.Bob and I miss you and Uncle Jim. Addie Booth could not have found a better home. She is so loved. You would be so very proud.I sat at your special bench and smiled thinking about all the things we went through over the years. Your in our hearts and prayers always. Georgie and Bob

Dearest MJ, we miss you so much; your & our Addie is the blessing you left us; she is very frail now, and her days are numbered, but we know that you know that and that you & Jim are waiting for her and that is the only reason we'll be able to "give her back." Addie is so you in her personality and joy of life. I'm so glad I knew you. I wish we could've been at the Pentagon today with all our friends and sat on your bench. Love, Patty & Ken & Addie

Boy, I really miss teasing you, showing you the newest Beanie Baby that I had bought, and relating more anecdotes of Sapphire. You would be surprised at how many of the "old gang" are no longer at AA-IAD.
Although I couldn't attend the memorial at the Pentagon, I watched (with Sapphire) in TV and will get to your bench and Jen and Ken's very soon.

I was working at a Falls Church gas station in the late 80's and MJ was one of my regular customers. I had been thinking about working for an airline at Dulles for some time, when I noticed MJ's Dulles parking permit. I told her how I had been considering employment at Dulles and her response was "you're not going to work for any airline, you're going to work for 'The Airline'" Nearly 19 years have gone by and I'm still with AA. MJ, you were an extraordinary woman and you are missed by your AA family. I'm honored to have known you and had you as a friend.
