Lowden campaign statement

"The use of the leased campaign RV has been and remains in fully legal compliance with the FEC. The name was originally on the registration and title for insurance purposes, but the Nevada DMV has since said that it was not required by law, so we removed the name. The campaign paid for the registration of the RV - and fully disclosed it to the FEC. The campaign paid for the insurance on the RV - and fully disclosed it to the FEC. The campaign paid for use and maintenance of the RV - and fully disclosed it to the FEC. It's unfortunate that on a day Nevada reported the highest unemployment in our state's history, Harry Reid and his cronies continue their effort to distract the media and voters with frivolous charges about a leased campaign RV. It shows how out-of-touch they are and how misplace their priorities are as Nevadans continue to struggle with record unemployment, home foreclosures, personal and business bankruptcies and debt."
